Bio

Byron Roth is the Executive Chairman of Roth Capital Partners. Under his management, the firm has helped raise over $100+ billion for small-cap companies and advised on numerous merger and acquisition transactions. Through an affiliate, he co-founded three private investment firms: Rx3 Ventures LP, an influencer fund co-founded with Aaron Rodgers focused on consumer growth investments, RIVI Capital LLC, concentrated in the mining sector, and Aceras Life Sciences LLC, an incubator focused on funding the development of novel medical innovations. He serves on the Board of Managers for the management companies of RX3 and RIVI. In addition, he co-founded two long-only asset management firms: Cortina Asset Management, acquired by Silvercrest Asset Management (NASDAQ: SAMG), and EAM Investors LLC.

Mr. Roth is a member of the Board of Governors of the Boys and Girls Club of America and he sits on the Board of Directors of the Lott IMPACT Foundation, whose Lott IMPACT Trophy is presented annually to the college football defensive IMPACT player of the year for their contribution on and off the field. He has been honoree of awards from numerous philanthropic organizations, including the Elephant Cooperation, Athletes First Classic Golden Heart Award benefiting the Orangewood Foundation, and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

Mr. Roth was previously a member of the Advisory Council and the Executive Committee and is the Chairman of the Nominating Committee for the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. He was also previously a member of the Executive Board of SMU’s Cox School of Business. Byron is a founding member of the University of San Diego Executive Cabinet for the Athletic Department and a former member of the Board of Trustees.

Mr. Roth earned his B.B.A. from the University of San Diego and his M.B.A. from the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business.
