Bio

Shelby Nowak is a Vice President, Healthcare Investment Banking at Roth Capital Partners. Before joining ROTH, Ms. Nowak was a Senior Global Product Manager at Shockwave Medical through acquisition by Johnson & Johnson, overseeing the Coronary IVL portfolio. Ms. Nowak has nearly a decade of experience in the medical device industry, leading product launches at small, medium, and large-cap companies. Ms. Nowak brings a unique perspective to ROTH’s Healthcare Investment Banking practice through direct end-market knowledge, focus on brand/company building, and experience taking medical devices from concept through commercialization.

Before joining Shockwave Medical, Ms. Nowak was a Product Manager at Medtronic, where she led the launch of the Penditure Left Atrial Appendage Exclusion System, and prior to this, managed a portfolio of Cardiac Surgery products, including surgical heart valves. Before joining Medtronic, Ms. Nowak was the Product Manager at Reprise Biomedical, a commercial-stage medical device company developing novel three-dimensional biologic products. Prior to Reprise, Ms. Nowak was a Registered Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Ms. Nowak started her career in medical devices at Vascular Solutions, where she worked in business development and product management through the acquisition by Teleflex.

Ms. Nowak received her B.A. in Economics from Augsburg University.
