Contact| Michael Guzman is Co-head of the Innovations Investment Banking Group at ROTH Prior to joining ROTH, he spent 10 years at B. Riley Securities as a Managing Director in investment banking where he specialized in advising public and private clients on mandates related to mergers and acquisitions and capital formation, including buyside M&A, sellside M&A, fairness opinions, follow-on offerings, initial public offerings, secondaries, ATM offerings, private equity financings, de-SPACs, bond issuances and debt financing. Prior to that Mr. Guzman spent over a dozen years at Cantor Fitzgerald where he covered institutional accounts while also serving as head of the corporate & venture services group overseeing the stock buyback & rule 144 business and sourcing & executing secondary equity transactions for venture capital and private equity firms in addition to other publicly traded companies. He began his career at UBS/ PaineWebber. Throughout his career, Mr. Guzman has sourced, structured and closed transactions for clients operating in a variety of sectors including, but not limited to gaming, consumer, consumer tech, vertical software, SaaS, telecom, storage, semiconductor, capital equipment, media and cybersecurity. Mr. Guzman has been featured on LABJ’s most influential investment banker list. He obtained his B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley and later attended the University of Southern California Graduate School of Cinema Television. |
