Matinas BioPharma Holdings, Inc. (NYSE AMER: MTNB), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has closed an underwritten public offering of 32,260,000 shares of its common stock. The shares were sold at the public offering price of $1.55 per share, resulting in the gross proceeds for Matinas BioPharma Holdings, Inc. of approximately $50.0 million.

In addition, Matinas BioPharma has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,839,000 shares of its common stock to cover any overallotments in connection with the offering.
