Merus N.V. (Nasdaq: MRUS), a clinical-stage oncology company developing innovative, full-length multispecific antibodies (Biclonics® and Triclonics™), has closed an underwritten public offering of 5,575,757 shares of common stock, which includes an additional 727,272 shares pursuant to the full exercise of the over-allotment option granted to the underwriters. The shares were sold at the public offering price of $24.75 per share, resulting in the gross proceeds to Merus N.V. of approximately $138 million.
Merus intends to use the proceeds from the offering to advance the clinical development of its product candidates, for preclinical research and technology development, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
